You will need the family member's BFA number to register.

NOTE: For renewals you must log in using the Family Members id (or email). The system cannot handle processing both memberships at the same time.

Have your business featured as a Corporate Sponsor of the BFA.  It includes a mailed Ballooning magazine, plus a rotating link on the website. Excludes voting privileges. Includes $20 for annual subscription to the printed Ballooning Journal magazine.

A non-voting membership for balloon clubs, libraries, balloon event organizations and other groups who want a mailed copy of Ballooning. Includes $20 for annual subscription to the printed Ballooning Journal magazine.

$ 65.00 per one year

Membership in the Competition Division, allows the pilot to compete and/or officiate in BFA sanctioned competition events. (calendar year only.)

This add-on subscription requires a valid personal primary membership.

NOTE: HACD members can be either a PILOT member or an OFFICIAL member, but not both.

Year 2026 for $ 55.00

For those pilots under 30, this membership in the Competition Division allows the pilot to compete and/or officiate in BFA sanctioned competition events. (calendar year only.)

This add-on subscription requires a valid personal primary membership.

NOTE: HACD members can be either a PILOT member or an OFFICIAL member, but not both.

Year 2026 for $ 35.00

As a competition official, this add-on authorizes you to particpate as a BFA sanctioned official for HACD-sanctioned competitions. (Calendar year only.)

This add-on subscription requires a valid personal primary membership.

Lifetime Membership for $ 150.00

Membership as an individual PRO Pilot provides access to the professional ride operators content and your name in the ride operators listing at bfa.net. Individual pilot members are not listed on the map locator.

All PRO memberships are subject to an approval process. Any paid applications that are not approved will have the membership fee refunded. You will receive an email with instructions on the application process.
